Entitled to Your Own Language

              I feel with the freedom of speech everyone is entitled to your own language, and speaking freely, wouldn’t you? Well of course you can say whatever you want, although there will be consequences. A student should know what is appropriate to use in certain situations. If you are writing an essay it is unnecessary to curse and use slang. There is a time and place for everything and a way to express your feelings.

               There are also mixed feelings on professionals and rappers who were ridiculed for lyrics. Such as NWA in their song “F*** The Police.” I feel that they do have the right to say whatever they want, but that was the wrong way of doing it. All that did was start riots and a even bigger problem then there already was, they could have approached the situation in a better way. They were very popular and famous at the time and could have did it in a more respectable way, without starting an outrage.

They Don’t Care About Us by Michael Jackson, This is a better way of putting lyrics into a song I feel. It is not as Provactive and as violant as NWA’s “Fuck The Police.” This is two ways of getting a point across. The same point, but one in the more standard way and one simply not.
